Pigtail is a piece of optical fiber of certain length with solid or unrestrained protective coating 0,9 mm, which terminated from one end with a connector of type LC. Connector LC has a size of standard port of RJ type and ½ of a size of duplex connector SC, which provides high-density positioning, connector LC has a clip in RJ style (the same as a clip on modular copper plugs).

Protective coating of optical fiber is made from PVC, on order pigtails can be supplied with solid protective coating or with additional coating Ø2 mm.
