Optical forward channel (HDO 902 HDO or 701) transmitter has decoupled narrowband and broadband input. The (HDO 802) forward channel transmitter and receiver can be equipped with a spectrum analyzer. The analyzer provides an accurate measurement of the channel levels, regardless of whether PAL or QAM modulation you use. PAL or QAM. For each channel you can set the upper and lower boundary thresholds, which greatly facilitates the monitoring. Spectrum analyzer, equipped with a forward channel transmitter, provides full support of plug and play technology. The system of labels makes the usage of the analyser simple and convenient if a more detailed research is necessary. The measurement results can be saved as Excel tables.

The (HDO 202) backward channel dual receiver with a wide input range, a wide range of adjustment and a higher gain is intended for the use in both small and large network segments. Automatic backup with internal switching in case of cable damage is provided. It is also possible to switch by an external RF coupler, which is important in case of device operating failures.

The (HDO 802) forward channel receiver suits perfectly for the hubs that provide high-quality output for cascaded lines. Wide output range can easily integrate the platform into the existing network. The automatic backup switching by means of an external RF coupler is supported in the event of the device operating failures or cable damage. Besides, there is no need to use any external controller for switching. The receiver can be equipped with a spectrum analyzer that is specially designed for automatic level and slope control (ALSC), as well as for the signal monitoring.

The platform supply can be both separate and centralized. At the separate supply the power source (HDP 230) is mounted in each chassis and it powered all modules in the chassis. Some chassis can be combined in a single chain for providing back up and load distribution; thus, in case of operating failure of one of the power supplies, the power to the chassis with the damaged source will be provided, from the power supply mounted in the other chassis. The system of load distribution between the power supplies perfectly demonstrates itself in operation and is based on constant voltage measurement and control.The number of power supplies in one chassis is not limited.

The centralized power can be used with equal success; its application allows using all the slots for the installation of modules with maximum efficiency.

The control module (HDC 100) ensures the access gateway to the HDO platform for service, monitoring and adjustment. The HDO platform supports the Teleste element management system (EMS), the SNMP management protocol, and it also ensures the user Web-interface. The control module allows you to remotely connect to the system. Locally, all modules are available on the monitoring bus. The control module renders various useful services, such as: mass configuring, broadcast software updating, automatic adjustment at modules replacement, control of modems of remote modules.
