Description: 

Fiber optic splice closure  FOSC-400D5 is the biggest of closures FOSC-400. Maximum capacity - 288 splices using cassettes of type B and 576 splices using cassettes of type D.

Fiber optic splice closure FOSC-400D5 is designed to connect cables with a large number of fibers and for take-off connections; storing of "transit" modules is also possible. Up to 12 cassettes of type B and up to 8 cassettes of type D can be installed in one closure. Five round ports (entered cable diameter – 5 to 32 mm) and one oval port for two cables (entered cable diameter – 10 to 25 mm) are provided for cable entry into the coupling. It can be used for cables laid directly into the ground, in cable ducts or at overhead.
