4-pairs UTP cable category 5e DCG UTP CAT5E 4P 0,50mm CCA PE is designed for outdoor use in local data networks: PBX, V.11, X.21, ISDN, Ethernet (10Base-T), ATM-25/52/155 Mbit/s, 100VG-AnyLAN, Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX), Token Ring 16/100 Mbit/s, Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T), Firewire 100 Mbit/s.

Terms of operation:

The cable is designed for air laying (self-supporting cable with integrated steel carrier wire). Use of copper clad aluminum conductor  considerably reduces the cable costs.

Due to standard dimensions of conductors and quality control in copper coating manufacturing, this cable can be used practically without  restrictions.

During installation and operation of cable with CCA conductors it is recommended  to avoid excessive strain on the cable wires, because CCA conductors have less strength than conductors of  pure copper.


Cable consists of four pairs of twisted conductors/wires  . Conductor is 24 AWG CCA wire. Its insulation is high density polyethylene. Outer sheath is made of black polyethylene, stable to UV-radiation. Galvanized steel wire provides necessary strength under suspension.

Common color identification of wires:

pair 1: white-blue / blue
pair 2: white-orange / orange
pair 3: white-green / green
pair 4: white-brown / brown


For  customers convenience, the cable is available in two packaging options.

Option 1

Cable is packed in Reelex cardboard boxes  (Pull Box), which allows to pull freely the cable end. The cable length in the box is 1,000 feet (305 m).

Option 2

500 m of cable  are wound on a wooden spool, which is placed in a cardboard box.
