Special application optical cable FinMark LТxxx-SM-07

Use:
For laying in all types of soil, including swamp lands and underwater, on bottoms of basins, rivers, and channels at depth values up to  50 meters.

Design:
Cable with 5-12 optical modules, twisted around the central strength element, which can contain up to 144optical fibers. Cavities between optical modules are filled with hydrofobic water-blocking compound. In cable with small amount of fibers, instead of missing optical modules so called «filling» modules are used. Aluminium foil layer serves as an additional hydrobarrier, which prevents moisture diffusion throuh polymeric coting towards optica lfiber. Armor layer is made from steel braidings, diameter 1.5 or 2.0 mm. Two-layered coating from UV-stabilized polyethylene of high density provides increased strength of the cable and prevents moisture diffusion.
