Managed L2 switch FoxGate S6024-S4L2 can connect customer equipment to IP / MPLS-networks via Ethernet-connection of carrier-class. Model S6024-S4L2 is an ideal platform to support L2 VPN services and private line service dedicated Ethernet E-Lines, Video-on-IP, IP-telephony and various broadband Internet services.

Operators can provide customers with all kinds of services through a single network infrastructure that simplifies the management, maintenance, administration, and access to network resources and performance. Moreover, service providers can quickly and at no additional cost to add, delete, and modify the configuration of services on Ethernet-connected. All parameters of SLA and QoS are configured remotely in real time as well as in the conventional networks, the system control.

Due to its reliability, versatility and economy switches S6024-S4L2 can be used in a number of high-yield applications, such as switching equipment in high-rise buildings L2/L3 networks or for consolidation and aggregation of DSLAM / GEPON devices.

To ensure high reliability of carrier-class are supported security mechanisms STP, RSTP, which allow you to reconnect with automatic selection of an alternate route. For a more flexible network planning and capacity for effective service separation technology can be used convert VLAN and VLAN stacking Q-in-Q.

Managed switch L2 FoxGate S6024-S4L2 has 28 ports. 24-ports 10/100Base-TX and 4 combo ports - 1000Base-T/SFP. They allow you to use Gigabit Ethernet over twisted pair channel or create a gigabit optical channel with optional SFP module. This model allows an order of magnitude speed up over the existing copper cable infrastructure. All ports have Auto-MDIX function and can be used to connect users and to connect with other active devices.

The switch has all the characteristics for the standard devices of this class, and such intellectual functions as support for the priorities (802.11r), support and backup trunks, port mirroring, support VLAN (802.11q), which allows users to easily configure the switch to the specific claim.
