Short description:

Digital module station TRIAX TDH-700 is intended to form TV and radio signals for following distribution on cable television networks.

Most suitable for small and medium networks with the number of abonents from several hundreds to several thousands.

Wide range of choice of functional modules allows to solve any tasks of content formation. TV and radio programs are received from satellites in digital form and are modulated in analogous TV signals within a range 47-860 MHz, it is possible to transfer low-frequency V/A signals from other sources and to modulate to TV signals, it is possible to convert TV signals received from air, it is possible to transmodulate the digital packages QPSK - QAM.

Modules that can be included into the station structure:

  • Digital receivers-modulators (QPSK-PAL /Secam);
  • Modulators (A/V в PAL/Secam);
  • Digital receivers FM-modulators (QPSK-FM);
  • FM-modulator for 87.5-108 MHz;
  • Transmodulators (QPSK-QAM);
  • TV convertors

The base block of the station has built-in supply unit, RF-summator, output amplifier. There are two types of the base block: TDH-701 main unit, that is equipped with programmator, and TDH-701 sub unit, that has everything except for the programmator. Up to the four sub units can be additionally connected to the single main unit.

The main unit of the station has 6 installation slots for replaceable modules. The operation of satellite receivers-modulators is carried out on principle Master-Slave, which allows to save on selection nodes and carry out the centralized control of all modules. All internal modules are inserted into the separate slots and are connected by the high-speed bus, on which an information is transferred by MPEG-flow. Slave modules have no input receiving block and are modulating only programs from the same package that is received by Master module.

Adjustment and control of station is carried out by three possible ways:

  • By using of remote control included into the delivery set;
  • With PC through RS-232 port;
  • Remotely, using GSM modem, the data are transferred in XML format.
  • Modular structure allows, in case of need, to carry out a quick modification of the station;
  • Convinient multilanguage screen menu similar to the user interface of home satellite receiver, provides ease of station setting;
  • Wide capabilities for station control;
  • The possibility to protect the station control with a password, as well as with physical lock;
  • The possibility of cascade connection of 4 additional TDH-701 sub units. In this case, the simultaneous receiving, processing and distribution into the cable network up to the 30 TV channels is provided. At that, the system control remains unchanged. The system control is activated only in the first base unit, and all configuration is performed through it. The connection of the base and additional units is carried out with use of USB A/V cable;
  • The software for station control with use of PC is included into the delivery set, and its last versions are always available on the site www.triax.com.

TDH-DVB-S Master modules (VSB) VHF/UHF:

TDH-DVB-S modules convert satellite digital TV signal with quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK) into an analogous signal of the PAL of SECAM standard for its further transferring to the collective cable system.

In the TDH-702 and 703 modules the CI interface is present for connection of decoding CA modules

TDH-737 and 738 modules are intended for conversion of digital sound of broadcasting to the analogous signal.

All master modules are equipped with high-quality modulators, allowing to transfer analog signals onto the required frequencies in MV and DMV ranges.

Master-modules provide multi-language menu and support of teletext and subtitles on various languages. They form MPEG-transport flow, by means of which interact with slave modules.

Depending on the type of the master module, the processing of accompanying sound is possible in formats: Mono, A2-stereo or NICAM-stereo.
